Acceptance
By purchasing, downloading, deploying or using Relay ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms and to the License Agreement referenced from this page. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company.
These Terms are written in plain language on purpose. When something is legally significant, we say so directly instead of hiding it in a defined term.
07.02 · License purchase
License purchase
Customers purchase a one-time lifetime platform license. There is no recurring platform fee, no per-user pricing and no automatic renewal. The specific rights granted depend on the plan you buy — Launch, Growth or Partner — and are described in full in the License Agreement.
Every license is a one-time purchase. Nothing renews. The Platform continues to run even if the support window has ended.
07.03 · Account responsibilities
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for the accounts you use to purchase, receive and manage the Platform:
- Accurate details. Keep your billing email and company details up to date.
- Repository access. Manage access to the Git repository where the source code is delivered.
- Meta Business account. Comply with WhatsApp's business messaging policies on the numbers you operate.
- Your users. Enforce reasonable access controls for your team and customers.
07.04 · Permitted usage
Permitted usage
You may use the Platform for any lawful business purpose consistent with your license, including running your own operations, deploying instances for your clients (Partner tier), modifying the source code, and integrating it with your other systems.
07.05 · Prohibited usage
Prohibited usage
You may not:
- Redistribute the source. Publish, share or resell the Relay source code as-is, whether free or paid.
- Sell as SaaS on Launch / Growth. Operate a multi-tenant SaaS product powered by Relay under a plan that does not grant that right (see License Agreement).
- Bypass license verification. Circumvent license checks, remove ownership metadata or misrepresent your license tier.
- Illegal or abusive messaging. Use the Platform to send spam, phishing, or messages that violate WhatsApp's business policies.
07.06 · Payments
Payments
Prices are shown on the Pricing page and quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. Payments are processed by regulated providers (Razorpay, Stripe) — Relay does not store card details.
License delivery starts once payment has cleared. Custom development engagements are billed separately under a scope of work.
07.07 · Support
Support
Every license includes a defined engineering support window, handled directly by the team building Relay:
- Launch
- 30 days of deployment and defect support.
- Growth
- 30 days of deployment and defect support, plus priority response.
- Partner
- 90 days of deployment, defect and integration support, plus a dedicated engineer for the first client rollout.
Extended support blocks are available on demand at any time — priced by the block, not as a subscription.
07.08 · Updates
Updates
Product updates are published as tagged releases in your repository for the duration of your update window. You pull the tag, review the diff and deploy on your own schedule — there are no forced upgrades. After the update window ends, your installation continues to operate; you may extend the update window at any time.
07.09 · Custom development
Custom development
Custom modules, integrations and workflows requested after purchase are scoped and quoted separately. Work happens inside your repository. Every feature we develop for you becomes part of your installation permanently, with no per-feature subscription and no re-licensing.
07.10 · Intellectual property
Intellectual property
Relay retains the intellectual property rights to the base Platform. Your license grants you broad rights to use, modify and deploy that Platform — the details, and any restrictions per plan, are set out in the License Agreement. Custom development performed for you is delivered under a work-for-hire arrangement and belongs to your installation.
07.11 · Limitation of liability
Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those required by applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted, Relay's total liability arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the license during the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, fraud or death caused by negligence).
07.12 · Termination
Termination
Your license is perpetual and cannot be revoked for ordinary reasons. Relay may terminate the license only in cases of material breach of these Terms — for example, redistributing the source code publicly, or using the Platform to send illegal or abusive messages. Termination of your license does not terminate your ownership of your customer data or your infrastructure.
07.13 · Jurisdiction
Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat — except where mandatory local consumer law grants you a different venue.
